i was wondering if we were to keep flowers in a gift box...and unable to know how long it will be kept enclosed....so i was wondering are there any possible way to maintain the freshness of the flowers...thks for the help..

Reply:You have a couple of options. If the box can be kept in the fridge, the flowers will last longer (That is where florists keep flowers). You can also purchase little water vials that attach to the stem of the flower, fill the vial with water and floral preservative, out of heat and direct sunlight and upright (so the vials are at the bottom) and that will also make the flowers last longer. You can also saturate floral foam, insert the flowers in the foam, place the foam in a plastic container and then in the box to keep them fresh longer.
