How to dye fresh flowers?

Depending on the kind of flower, your best bet is to put food coloring into a small amount of water and then place the stems in. In a matter of time, the flower will soak up the dye and change color. This works great with white carnations.

Florists also sell floral spray that is colored, but that' not the same thing.
