How to keep cut flowers fresh for longer?

don't let any leaves in the water,

change the water and cut the stems a little bit, very frequently,

add some baking soda (not too much) OR vinegar and sugar (not both)

How to keep cut flowers fresh for longer?
Thanks ;) Report It

Reply:I add sweet into their water, but I'm not sure if this really works or not..Someone had told this to me....
Reply:Change the water everyday...snip the ends just a bit to 're-new' the flowers...and add some sugar or a fizzy clear drink (eg.7-Up) to the water to keep them longer...
Reply:1 aspirin in the water. Use that old school aspirin not this Excedrin or Advil stuff.
Reply:Use fresh, warm water. Cut stems at an angle. Drop an aspirin in the water. Keep cool.
Reply:Put them in clear jello.
Reply:Put them in 7 up. I heard this while watcing the rose parade.
