How often to give fresh cut flowers Food??

Every other day when you change the water???

also, do you cut the stems every time too?

How often to give fresh cut flowers Food??
They should only require food about twice a week.Change the water every other day. When you put in the vase in the beginning, be sure no leaves are in the water, trim back. Also cut the stems on a slant. When replacing water may sure flowers are not out of the water for any length of time, keep in water to the side until vase is cleaned out and water is added.

Tepid water is best, cut once again before returning flowers to vase.Keep fresh flowers out of direct sunlight or drafts. They prefer a cool room.
Reply:I would say about 2 times a week that is all. They do not need a lot of food as the filter it out of the earth.
Reply:Cutting the stems is good so they can still take up what they need to.... a great thing to do if you dont have food is to fill the vase with 1/2 water and the other 1/2 a clear soda. The acidity in the soda will keep bacteria out and the sugar will keep your flowers alive longer.... cant use a colored soda because of all the additives for color... so use the soda and you wont have to worry when to feed them ^^
Reply:ive tried soda but have had better luck with 1/3 sprite and 2/3 water. higher sugar content i think is the difference
Reply:you don't need to feed them that often but you absolutely need to change the water and make sure none of the leaves are actually in the water proper - trim all bottom leaves that are touching the water...I'd say feeding 1-2 times a week is cool. Also cut flowers last longer is kept away from direct sunlight.
