Does the florist, or the cake baker decorate the wedding cake with fresh flowers ?

How far in advance should you decorate the cake with fresh flowers ?

Does the florist, or the cake baker decorate the wedding cake with fresh flowers ?
never put the flowers on until you are at the event that the cake is for. you can put them on, just not overnight or anything!

the baker or the florist will put the flowers on. it depends on the design of the cake. the florist brings the flowers usually, so they match with the rest of the decorations. this is something that has to be worked out with both the florist and the baker.
Reply:im sure that they use real flowers. thats what i heard
Reply:The florist can put the fresh flowers on your cake when the cake arrives at the site. Normally, that would be about 6-4 hours before you cut it. Having a florist choose and arrange your flowers on the cake means that they will coordinate with the other flowers in the wedding. It's a cheap way to decorate the cake too, much cheaper %26amp; prettier than sugar flowers.
Reply:its up to the bride
Reply:The baker puts the flowers on the cake, and real or fake flowers can be used.
Reply:My florist put the flowers together for the cake and brought them to the reception hall. The baker then brought the cake and placed the flowers on the cake just before the reception. You should not put the flowers on more than a few hours before the wedding because they will wilt.
Reply:no, I believe the flowers are either sugar made or plastic, but there is only oneway to find out. By taking a big bite.
Reply:i think it would be the baker.
