Reply:Flowers are pretty, and in terms of gentleman politeness and culture bringing flowers to women is very common. To most American women this is an appreciated gift. It shows the men are being thoughtful towards the women, I'm not sure exactly where or when this tradition started but just realize it is men trying to flatter you.

True story, a friend got stood up by a girl and wound up going out with the guys instead. So we went to the florist to find out a little truth. We bought a dozen roses and took them to the girl's house to let her parents know that she was supposedly too sick to be going out that night. Needless to say when her mother heard the news and received the flowers that girl suddenly became too ill to be going out that night with anyone.





Never underestimate the effectiveness of a bouquet.
