Besides flowers, what do I need to make a fresh flower lei and what is the best way to make it?
Plumerias, carnations (or any other hardy flower) works best and it takes a lot of 'em! Use a long sewing needle and heavy duty thread like upholstery thread.


Thread your needle with about a yard of the heavy-duty thread.


Poke a hole through the center of the first flower.


Wash, rinse, repeat.





Just make sure all the flowers are facing the same direction or it'll look funny.
