What is a good strong-smelling, hardy flower that I can grow inside to use as natural air freshener?

I'm going green and all-natural! I like strong floral scents and like to keep my house smelling fresh and sweet. I like floral and woody scents. (like pine and juniper and cedar). Im fond of eucalyptus as well. I'd like to know what is a good one to grow indoors that requires little knowledge or care, and smells fantastic all the time! thanks!

We grow Patchouly in a pot on the patio in the summer, then cut it back and bring it in for the winter.Nice if you dont mind smelling like Jerry Garciea!
Reply:Heliotrope. It smells like vanilla

Reply:You can grow sage which will not only make your house smell good but according to beliefs, will bring luck to your home. The flowers are a lovely purple when they bloom. You can also grow miniature roses. I have one in every room of the house.
Reply:Any one of the wonderful scented geraniums.

There is a vast selection.

They will require some sun.
Reply:My choice would be what Dorothy suggested. Has a great smell. Be careful with your watering however, if it gets dry a lot of the leaves will die and they are never replaced but other than that its a great plant
Reply:Hyacinth is a very strong but good smelling flower. It grows from a bulb, usually outdoors but would probably last longer in a pot indoors! Good luck!
Reply:lavender.
